Ruby Mountain Trading (Pty) Ltd was established in July 2007, by Willem Malan.
Willem Malan’s experience in construction started in the early 1990’s when he was a sub-contractor for Grinaker Construction, building 50 houses in Mafikeng and two schools (Primary and High School) in Okasie, Brits.
Later he was employed by the Mabalingwe Nature Reserve in Bela Bela, and after being promoted to Construction and Maintenance Manager, was responsible for the construction of 52 private homes (sizing between 90m² and 400m²) in the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, and 7 private lodges at Mabalingwe Nature Reserve (between 300m² and 600m²). After 12 years of service at Mabalingwe Nature Reserve he decided to start his own construction company.
